by During the critical period of China’s manufacturing industry transitioning towards high-quality development, the concrete industry, as the “skeletal system” of infrastructure construction, is undergoing a historic transformation from scale expansion to value creation.
Recently, the Concrete Special Committee of the China Bulk Cement Promotion and Development Association, together with more than 20 industry associations across the country, jointly released the “Self discipline Convention and High quality Development Initiative for the Concrete Industry”, marking the official launch of a systematic reform in this traditional industry with an annual output value of over one trillion yuan to solve development difficulties through self-discipline mechanisms.
This industry driven transformation not only concerns the survival and development of millions of practitioners, but also reflects the deep logic of China’s manufacturing industry in transformation and upgrading.
